As we all know any good garden starts with the soil. We can of course find bags of soil at the lawn and garden department. If you cut corners with your soil, you will get poor performance. You will as they say, “you get what you pay for”.
I have found that if I mix my soil I have better control of my results. I like to grow in organic soil. This is because if you want to use the soil for your food source plants it is much safer and healthier.
I do a raised bed garden for my vegetables and use a mixture of organic soil. Just remember not to use pressure-treated wood because of the chemicals in the wood. You would not want to mess up your hard work of going with organic soil.
